I strive to offer my clients an enjoyable, relaxed and most importantly, fun session that focuses on you and your family. I only schedule one to three sessions per week, to ensure you get the best possible attention to detail. When ALArms Photography was born, I had YOU in mind!

Maybe you and I have never met, maybe we have been friends forever but I was thinking of YOU... the consumer... that's right!

When I created my session pricing and product pricing I was looking at these prices as a consumer, as if I was the purchaser.

I tried to take everything I disliked about those "offers" the chain store package "deals" and pricing and make it something I WOULD be interested in. Since i like a bargain... i believe i have VERY REASONABLE prices!

The reason my photography business is such a "good deal" (i have recently taken a little critique about how low my pricing is) is because I have a full time job that pays my bills. I am not trying to pay my bills through my photography, it's what i do because i love it...

for the longest time i didn't want to charge people and i felt bad charging period but my husband told me that i was going to have to start charging or stop doing it because it was keeping me away from my children and him and that was fine for every now and then but if i was going to do this as a side gig i needed to be compensated for the time i am away from my family.

Apparently i have "under-compensated" myself see a few comments below on my pricing list from my fellow photographers...

"Your prices are very low and it seems almost impossible that you could be making a profit." - Leigh|Photographer

"It looks to me like you are giving your talents away!" - Cami|Photographer

I think my pricing and packages are pretty reasonable and because i do have a full time job i am not trying to survive off my rates. Likely in the future i will continue to modify and change pricing but it will be a while before i have fully professional pricing... probably when i am doing this as my full time profession!

It's hard not to be partial when you are photographing your God Children!

But SERIOUSLY aren't these the cutest little faces EVER?

I mean of course my children give them a run for their money but again, i might be a little bias in this opinion :o)

and meet their Au pair - Asumi - i didnt get to speak with her much but she seemed like a sweetheart to me... :o)

Project 52 - Glimpses Week 18 | Louisville Lifestyle Photographer

My husband and our babies... i love when he comes home and the kids are so excited to see him, it's like a mad dash to the door to see who can get there first and they always greet him with an exciting... DADDYYYYY! - yep my kids sure do love their daddy!! and I know that it's because he is very hands on with them.

He is not one of those bring home the bacon then prop my feet up while you serve my dinner and fetch me a beer... OHH NOOO not this guy!!!

He is a get down on the floor and play with legos for hours kind of dad... and human jungle gym for his children.

It doesn't take an expert to see, even in this photograph how much he is loved... a truly RICH man!! :o)

Baby Kyana | 3 weeks old | Shepherdsville Newborn Photographer

Super cute, adorable and most precious... all are descriptive words for this newborn adorableness, little miss Kyana (Key - Ah- Nah)

What to Wear | Derby Time | Louisville Photographer

It's Derby time in the city of Louisville!

ON TO THE FASHIONS

These boards are to school you on up coming fashions and to simply inspire clients attire, because the days of khakis/jeans and white button down shirts/Polo's for the entire family are LONG GONE!

Here are some ideas for fun pops of color in your shoot.

New Fashions Available May 12th

These fashion boards for what to wear for your session guides are merely to give you an idea of would work well in your photography shoot or what I would love to see a client wear.

These fun little boards are NOT to make you go purchase these exact selections on the day they come out at the store nor are they designed to diminish your own sense of style.

By all means I want you to come to your session fully dressed in the attire that screams "ME" because those will be the photos that best represent YOU at this moment in time.

Rummage your closet and pull something together to emulate these fashions.

For family sessions start with the family member that has the least amount of items to work with, then select a color that is common to the whole family's wardrobe or that can be coordinated with another common color of the family's attire.

Then go to the next family members closet and choose something that coordinates with what you have just chosen. This does NOT mean choosing the SAME exact color but a choice with the same color family or style.

Continue this until everyone has an outfit, then lay them out next to each other to make sure they actually do look well side by side, layered, etc.
