2013 in Review | Louisville Children & Senior Photographer

Happy NEW YEAR! I hope that 2014 offers each and every one of you lots of laughter, happiness and love!

2013 for ALArms Photography was a very strange year from the photography aspect. I was not able to work on my website or market like I wanted to or even work on my newsletter list like I intended to devote more time to working on. I didn't get to do much of anything but shoot and edit in between my regular schedule then adding my sons football practices and games to the mix, I was pretty much non-stop, but barely adding anything to my business. Although it was bitter sweet - the experiences that my child learned will hopefully stay with him forever and one thing I know for sure that he learned...

Even tho he looks pretty darn GREAT in a football uniform,
he is no longer interested in playing football next season. It's a pretty rough schedule because we would spend 3 to 5 nights at the practice field for 2 hours each night and then games were on Saturday anywhere from 8am to 6pm. So I used all that time to learn to sports photography. lol
So with me being out of commission pretty much the whole summer and beginning of fall, I had given very little thought to what my whole year was looking like and even tho I cut my year in half or less for shooting opportunities I actually did pretty well in regard to the number of clients I had in 2013 vs 2012. So I don't know if this is telling me all my marketing work I normally do, doesn't mean squat or if my name is out there just enough to still have a pretty good year when I don't! LOL
So here are 28 out of 29 of my 2013 clients - thank you so much for choosing me to create your portraits, I know there are so many other places or people you could use but you chose ME and I can't even tell you how appreciative of that I am!!! Please continue to tell your friends and family about me and thank you again.

I am hoping that 2014 offers me more time to do my own marketing but your word of mouth is ALSO the best tool I have to getting my name out there - thanks again and I look forward to working with you in 2014!!
